New Customer Account Set Up
As a first-time FTX App Trading customer, you’ll want to follow the steps below to create an account.
- On the FTX App Invest tab, tap Fund Your Account to get started, or tap the Settings icon.
- Tap Register.
- Create your username, then tap Next. Usernames can include letters, numbers, dots (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
- Enter your email address, then tap Next.
- Enter a password. Please note that the password should contain at least 8 characters with at least one number and one letter. Tap Next.
- FTX App will send an email to your address to verify that it’s your email address. Tap the Open Email App button and select the email application you typically use.
- Tap the link in your email app on your mobile device. Your account will be verified at this point, and you’ll be able to sign into your account on any mobile device with your username and password to use your News, Track, and Invest features.
- Next, you’ll verify your identity. Follow the prompts to complete identity verification steps.
Existing Customer Account Setup
- On the FTX App Invest tab, tap Fund Your Account or the Settings icon to get started.
- On the Get Started popup, tap Sign In to sign into your account. If you have never set up an email address/password combination to use with your FTX App app, follow the settings above for New Customer Account Setup.
- Next, you’ll verify your identity. Follow the prompts to complete identity verification steps.

I lost my money to them few months ago in a bitcoin investment. I lost over $5,000, they denied my withdrawal request and and also left it pending. I reached out to them and they never responded back to my emails and calls. They eventually locked me out of my account. I'm a little confused. Does my assets automatically get staked? But then I can simply unstake it if I want? Is my assets locked when they are staked? Ty for any feedback
